RMK: Snow showers yesterday evening have left a dusting of
snow on the ground. Dry overnight and so far this morning.
With the gradient pretty well from due west we are just out
of the main shower stream coming in from Liverpool Bay.
From time to time the Cb tops are clearly visible passing
to the north. If the gradient veered by 10-20 deg that
would bring us right into the firing line.

RMK: Dry for most of the day with spells of sunshine. The total
of 4.0 hours makes it the sunniest day since 4th Jan. For
most of the day the southern edge of the Liverpool Bay
shower stream has been about 20 km north of here but during the
afternoon there appears to have been a subtle change in the
gradient wind direction resulting in the shower stream edging
southwards. Large Cb are now passing very close to the north
and around 1600z the edge of one gave us a shower of soft hail
that put a dusting of white on the ground. The main stream is
still passing just to the north. Max temp 3.4
