Default So who is actually getting this current cold spell??
BUT where exactly is all of the snow cover and freezing
weather they keep mentioning?

Well, it is frosty here - just. There's ice on puddles showing
no sign of melting, and the car thermometer was showing 0.0ºC.
The sky is cloudless and there was even some warmth in the sun,
and all the hills of Sutherland and Caithness are covered in
snow. Beautiful. Wish I could have stayed out all day
