Lots and lots of showers here. More than usual for a polar maritime , but
really not that cold.

A good amount of instability which goes with cold air over relatively warm
sea, suggesting more Polar maritime than Arctic Maritime. I think the
Arctic Maritime digs in over the weekend with less in the way of showers.


I would describe it as returning arctic maritime.
Certainly Arctic like up here this afternoon with the heavy snow and
temperatures near freezing.
