Roll on spring, than I can get on with things.
Blimey, too true!
I was on a site visit this afternoon and it was lovely and sunny with no
wind and at nearly 6C it was OK.
Then a breeze picked up and what was a pleasant couple of hours turned
into something rather unpleasant as that wind had a nasty, cold edge to it.
In the end abandonment was the only answer as you can only spend so long
stood out in that wind and not start to get chilled. Plus faces and
fingers had gone numb so discussing and writing wasn't easy!
It makes me want to head south! But I cannot go any further without
having to speak French (which I don't).

You think France is warmer. Check out this week's temps in the Millevaches (Limousin), numbingly cold and quite snowy too!
Thinking of retiring there, like UK but a bit more extreme at the warm and cold ends.
