Hi, All,
The sunshine continues, another 9hr yesterday makes 24hr in the past 3 days.
The constant radiation through the very clear sky means little snow melt in
the Lead Mill area of the village. The gusty winds and big temperature
fluctuations of yesterday seem to have gone for now, although the Dun Fell
station 20 miles west continues to show the temperature variation.
It's not often that Great Dun Fell is one of the warmest reporting stations in
the British Isles. It was 7.4 deg at 1100z. Only the far N and NW of Scotland
and the Scilly Isles were warmer.
