That's a pretty despicable response even by your standards -
claiming the moral high ground and cheapening the language of

We all know why you can't stand him - he saw through you. You're
pathetic and should be utterly ashamed of yourself. Just go, and take
your poison with you.
So you think snow melting is the saddest sight in the world, just like the
smug idiot who first posted it ?
Everyone knows - or at least should do - that what Will said wasn't
intended to be taken literally but was a piece of hyperbole.

Actually John I too hate to see snow retreat like a defeated army. It must be something to do with our age group both being born 51/52. I do realise that at that point Will will be eager to dismiss intensely any other similarities.
Nope I love snow and always will and people like that are saddened to see it melt as here in the UK its such a huge effort for the weather conditions to align, produce it and sustain it.
Of course as we all are hurtling towards our dotage maybe if we start to get consistent snowfall every winter and slip and hurt ourselves a few times with our mobility severely hampered due to the snow/ice conditions, then the love affair with snow will be sorely tested.
