They're hardy souls.... SST between 9.5C and 10C, brrrr! I haven't
surfed at this time of the year for many years now. Need the SST to
reach +15C before I am ready to venture in (wetsuit required).
I had a paddle on the beach on Friday and my toes went numb. The SST is
8.5C in Lyme Bay at the moment so a tad below normal. On this day last
year the SST was 9.7C.
Hard to believe the offshore SST reached a rather pleasant 20.8C last July.
