I don't mean to put too much of a dampener on things but it is certainly a
possibility that if winds swing round into the east next week it could get
warmer :-O as milder mediterranean air is entrained. This would mean that any
snow is only likely to be over high ground.

Excellent news - rather like Feb 1975 (74?) then: largely anticyclonic,
but mild. Good chance to get some early season cycling in then
