Default Peterhead weather

It shouldn't be a foggy spell but that is generally the case with an increase in vorticity in the tropical seas. This spell is based mainly on the time of the moon being about 1 pm. That is a wet weather call generally but for some reason the presence of extremes in the tropics seems to move the clock somewhat.

I have never worked out what, why or how. But it is a universal switch. Maybe it has something to do with the other ephemerides but those would all affect the moon before reaching the earth. I suppose that is a mystery for astro-physicists not yet conditioned by the dark ages.
