The recent synoptic setup, still in place today, http://meteocentre.com/analyses/map....eur&size=large , combined with offshore F3 or so winds, has given a lovely clean long period surfing wave in Cornwall.

A clean 4' - 6' wave, giving some long rides and relatively easy conditions for paddling back out. Sunday http://www.sennen-cove.com/19apr15.htm

Been a lot of seals on the beach next to Godrevy recently, I got some good photos, as has Cornwall CAM http://www.cornwallcam.co.uk/recently.htm

Weather wise the onshore wind in Penzance restricted the maximum temperature to 15.6C yesterday, aftr the coldest night of the month - 2.4C min.

Looks like being warmer today, last nights minimum 6.0C and 13.1C @ 09:00.

Unbroken sunshine and a max of 18.0C today, chance it might rise a touch further.

Quite breezy, a good F4 on the sea front, but still a lovely day. Out of the wind down at Sennen Harbour (NNW facing) http://www.sennen-cove.com/harbourcam.htm
