Default Drizzle clears west Cornwall

Brightening up nicely now after a drizzly morning. 3.4mm of rain from the frontal systems.

Apart from bringing north warm air, the current setup is a very surfy one. Currently the wave height at Sevenstones is around 8', a good 6' on the beach at Sennen. Shame the Sennen webcams aren't working. I just hope it's not a thing to come now that MagicSeaweed have been taken over.

Still - here's the biggish surf at Gwithian http://www.sunset-surf.com/surf-webcam where there'll also soon be UV reports, tha'll be interesting. (What's happened to the Camborne UV reports?)

The surf is bigger today than it was during a near gale a few weeks back, when we were inundated with weather warnings of big waves causing problems on the Atlantic coast, and there was little real swell at all, just rough.
