[WR] Haytor 2/7/15
The wee bit of rain this morning has now totally dried up. The lane is bone
dry and the moor has soaked it all up, very few puddles remain, as if it
never happened. But what an afternoon!
Long sunny spells and warm again with the temperature rocketing up from 13C
at 14:00 local to 19C now, and it is still rising. The visibility is superb,
the distant sea horizon from 1000 feet up is as sharp as a mother-in-law's
tongue. You'd think that you could touch the distant hills, vis must be at
least 60Km. This Atlantic air is gorgeous, far better than the sticky, very
murky continental crud of yesterday.

Hi Will, I agree and to have nearly an inch of rain followed by lovely warm sunshine is not an everyday occurrence. My neighbor commented on the unusual cloud and indeed the display of floccus on Tuesday evening was spectacular. Devon at this time of the year can be as good as anywhere in the world.
