Default Greenland melt

Well, my remark was a bit tongue in cheek and unfortunately, when we passed over Greenland the cabin was in night mode, and raising the window blinds resulted in loud tutting from other passengers trying to sleep. I'm afraid my important research was not possible!

Incidently Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia is suffering from a severe drought. The result is many forest fires with thick smoke affecting large areas.

The following link has some dramatic photos and other information on the effect of a wildfire in Port Alberni which is in the centre of Vancouver Island.
