Default Satellite imagery of Europe, 16th July, 14:45 BST

I find this interesting: Right on the border between France and Spain there
is a line of cloud growing rapidly. The same is happening in other areas in
Spain, and in the middle of Italy, in particular. What would be causing
that? Is it elevated land where the air is rising and clouds are therefore
forming? It's quite striking, even more so if you look at it more closely.
