If you find a thread 'depressing', why do you read it, when you don't have to?

Well, not being psychic I was not aware of it's pointlessly repetitive content until I'd read it. It started fine with clear responses from RedAcre, Stephen, Bernard, Alan & others, and then should have stopped.

The title of group moderator doesn't have an owner on usenet and never will.
