I have Windows 7 and am told I am eligible for the free WIndows 10

else off? Firefox/Thunderbird, Office, and all my little weather diddies?
Thanks

Hi Keith.
No it doesn't do a clean wipe. I've 2 laptops, a Windows 7 and 8.1, and
I used the Windows 7 for the upgrade to Windows 10. So far no issues
other than familiarity. Old apps still there; bookmarks, etc. I'll wait
a while before upgrading the newer laptop - let the kinks of Windows 10,
whatever they are, be ironed out first....

Windows 10 installed fine for me, upgrade from 8.1 . Go for it, it looks
a nice OS.

Thanks for the heads up...
