Default [WR} Haytor 17/8/15 (scorcher!)

The switch from the September dryness to the October rains is very
noticeable.

It is the best time to go down the beach for a swim with the sea
warm and the sun softened, and the beaches quiet.

I know, I'm able to return to Sennen after avoidint it for 6 weeks, when it's just too busy.

Talking of going for a swim.... Sun's out!

Just been for a swim with the family at Perranuthnoe. Even that 'locals' beach is getting very popular now. Tide coming in (low 13:00 here) & a very, very light onshore breeze meant some nice 'warm pools' of water close in. Followed by a drink at The Cabin http://www.thecabinbeachcafe.co.uk/ . Some medium Cu on the Lizard convergence zone this afternoon didn't affect the sunshine on the beach

Max of 20.3C in Penzance today - scraping back up to near normal.
