Default West Cornwall - Unbroken sunshine - Pics of Sennen at it's best

It was great to have Sennen back from the hoards. Quiet despite the sun, as there was no surf today. 6-7' forecast with a warm moderate offshore breeze later this week - could be classic.

Unbroken sunshine here too.

It was a very cold night, one of the coldest I have recorded at this
time of year. Normally we experience some of the warmest nights of the
entire year at this time but warm nights seem to have disappeared long
ago and have not been a feature of this summer except for the odd days
(mainly around early July).

Still after a rather chilly minimum of just 4.8C the temperature rose
swiftly and in the end a very pleasant 20.9C was reached. Made better by
the loss of that northerly and rather higher humidity (DP around 14C).

A gentle sea breeze set in properly at 14:00 after a few false starts.

UV levels dropping back now and generally staying below 6.0 though last
year I did record 7.3 on the 2nd. That was the only +6.0 of the month.
By the end of September maximum UV levels are usually around 3.5 to 4.0.
