Why doesn't a mild forecast suddenly turn cold? It always seems to be the
other way around! There's probably a good meteorological answer to this,
anyone?

On the radio this morning I distinctly heard the forecaster saying that a
cold easterly will become established next week - but I can't see it on
any chart. I'm sure something weird is going on...

Because everyone is looking for the cold forecast.. if there was ever a
possibily of a mild spell turning cold, people here and especially on TWO
would be ramping it as the next arctic invasion!
