You might like to review the publications available via the Royal
Meteorological Society at:-
http://www.rmets.org/publication/index.php
Thanks, with reservations - it threw up a very abrupt message ordering
me to go and get IE or Netscape (at this point I usually leave
immediately)
which would be of no use at all on this OS!!
... odd that the RMetS web site (which is maintained by people who watch
this newsgroup)
(thought that was a possibility ;-) )
wouldn't display that page in whatever browser/OS you
are using ... did you try the home page of same?
http://www.rmets.org/
Follow the links then via 'Publications'. If there is still a problem,
then let us know in this thread and those responsible for the site will
see it and perhaps respond ;-)
On first entering the site (whatever page) I get the javascript message box;
when I close it the page exits the browser window, leaving me with the
previous (unrelated) page in the history list.
However if I clear the cache before emptying the page remains - but I get
the javascript messages when accessing links.
Navigating the site with javascript permanently disabled is no problem.
(I'll take a look with IE when I'm next in the office at work and see
whether ther's anything missing when I view from here).
whereby I can check ordering procedure please?
Fax: 0118 956 8571
email:
the latter is the 'all-purpose' email contact - they'll redirect as
required. The Education Secretary is very helpful and I'm sure he will
sort something out for you,
HTH
Thanks very much.
