Rob, Graham, we know that and we don't mind! What you guys don't seem to
get
is that we don't all like feeling cold either. We just happen to think
that
constant cloud, damp, drizzle and 6-7C actually FEELS colder. It makes us
miserable.Being cheerful folks we prefer beautiful blue skies, crisp
frosts
and a snowfall that makes everywhere so bright and cheery and is different
and great fun for kids.

It *does* feel colder - coming out to my car on a damp, cloudy, 8deg morning
is much more cold feeling than a -1 still, sunny morning!

Was recently in switzerland on top of a mountain at -12, and, honest to god,
I was colder back in blighty at a rainy heathrow at 9 degrees!
