After a minimum of 10.7C last night, the max so far is 14.8C. I wouldn't be surprised if it rises above 15C overnight.
Still very little rain here, total for the month has nudged up to 16.1C. 0.2mm fell in the 24 hours to 09:00 today, none since.
Great surfing wave today
http://www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/octsurf.html and plenty in the sea. There is very little lifeguard cover over the October half term, which I think is a shame. OK, it costs money, but it's always busy in the sea during the October half term. As it's school holidays it includes lots of people with little experience. The typical sea conditions in late October are quite challenging, certainly set to be the case this week, unlike the typical summer conditions.
