Especially that temperature drop. The CF is still some way off coming through
here but this is the first 'potent' cold front of the season and the first
that I will be looking out for with respect to the rapid fall in temperature.

Surface cold front went through Tideswell at 1040z with a brief burst of
moderate rain, a pressure kick and a 90-deg veer of wind. The temperature
dropped from 10.3 at 1035z to 8.6 at 1115z. Nothing particularly notable but,
as you say Col, the first real cold front of the season.
