I was almost there, I'd created the shortcut but not scrolled down to
the 'Startup' folder, to put it there. You just prompted me to look
for it.

I thought it was through the Task / Start Up menu, but unless I missed
something, it didn't work.

Put a shortcut to the program in the Programs Startup folder which
should be at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup (assuming a default setup).
