Advice needed here! I have noticed differences between the archive
charts on the German DVD Reanalysis 1950 - 2003, Bodendruck 1899 - 1949
and the CDC surface replots starting 1948, some of the differences are quite
marked. Why is this, and which source is possibly more accurate?

They have their own forum at Wetterzentrale. Pity it is in German only.
