Default O/T Startup adding ?

The easiest way I've found to do it is...

Right click on the link that you want - presuming you're looking at the
link on either your desktop of in the Programs of your Start Button, and
drag it to the Startup folder and let go... You can then choose to
Move/Copy/Create Shortcut....

I have email and newsreader in there as well as a few others...

Easy

Thanks Jonathan,

I was almost there, I'd created the shortcut but not scrolled down to
the 'Startup' folder, to put it there. You just prompted me to look
for it.

I'm sure this is a simple thing to do, but how do you add a programme
so that when the computer is re-started the programme is included in
the startup automatically ?

I have Windows XP Pro.

I thought it was through the Task / Start Up menu, but unless I missed
something, it didn't work.

Put a shortcut to the program in the Programs Startup folder which
should be at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup (assuming a default setup).
