Mild all the way. Just like last year with Scandinavia well above
freezing. I wonder if it will be the third year in a row with virtually
no lying snow here.

As Dave says, it's deja vu all over again. Just as in 2014 and 2013, Europe has stayed exceptionally mild for weeks now.

I will have to dig out the figures when I have got time, but I have a feeling that in the past when December has been hyper mild (top 10% of CET) the winter as a whole has been mild.
