RMK: Fog in the Misbourne valley just below us to the SW. Untreated
roads are quite icy.

RMK: It's quite dull and gloomy, suggesting that either the St is
fairly
thick or that there's something above it.
24-HR STATISTICS: Max (0900-0900): 9.2 at 1500z
Min (0900-0900): -1.8 at 0625z
Grass min (1800-0900): -5.3
Rain (0900-0900): Nil

RMK: No sign of any break in the St layer yet but it has brightened
noticeably during the past hour.

RMK: The St began to break up around 1130z. It looks as if it will
all be gone by about 1300z
1500z SW F1-2 3500 HZ 2St008 07.3/03.6 1023
RMK: The sky was completely clear for a while but there's now a
very solid bank of stratus to S and SW. The rest of the sky
is still clear. Max 8.1 at 1425z but now falling quite
quickly.

RMK: Cars are icy already but roads and pavements are dry,
except where they have been gritted.
