"Slow close and yet so far with regard the snow we forecast for this
week.

"Despite some excellent agreement between various models last weekend,
everything has now fallen apart and there is no sign of any snowfall in
the area for the foreseeable future.

"At least for a while it looked as if something very interesting was
about to happen. There's always next year!




"Winter update - looking dodgy!

"How very embarrassing! Our winter forecast is now looking fairly
poor, despite a good start in December.

"Our forecast of severe cold and snow now looks highly unlikely. We're
sure there are lessons to be learnt somewhere ;o)

"Roll on Spring and Summer we say. Let's hope for some good thundery
activity with the warmer weather."
