Presumably many stations in the south of England have similar
readings,which will not really be reflected in the CET stats....

December mean in Wanstead: 11.1C (13.5C, 8.7C) that'a 5.5C above average. Not one air frost.
My anemometer has been locked in a S to SW direction since November 4th.
