Still no air frost this winter, and it now looks unlikely during this spell.

January 2010 saw 14 air frosts and 5 days with a snow cover at 09:00, even down in Penzance.

Have we forgotten what a cold spell can be like?

Same here in N. Bristol. Took a risk and left pelargoniums,etc, uncovered.
A couple of hours at -0.2C did them no harm on Friday night. Who knows? This w/e might be our winter.
