I would say better - in fact, MUCH better.:-D

If the winter of 2002 had been as severe as they had nearly ALL
forecast(!), then I would most certainly NOT be doing this right now.
In fact, RIGHT NOW, I would most likely still be a very much welcomed,
and perhaps even a very much valued, member of the forum community over
there, just as I was in the old "Hurricane" days;-), and EVEN EARLIER
than that, in fact!:-o

How can I possibly have been "worse than this in the past" though? Have
you phrased your question badly, perchance?
