December 2015 was the warmest of all months to 2014 by 0.16C. Also
warmer than previous warmest month in 2015, Oct, by 0.06C. Anomaly
based on 1951-80 normal was +1.12C

2015 was the warmest year in the record, beating 2014 by 0.13C. It was
0.24C warmer than 1998. Anomaly based on 1951-80 normal was +0.87C

2015 judged to be 1.17C warmer than the pre-industrial period (using
same base as the Met Office).
