The warmest two have been the last two years. 1998 - the denier's favourite year (as, of course, the strongest El Nino of modern times helped the global warmth) - is now 6th equal. It will, almost certainly, continue to fall down the record list (as 2014 and 2015 will), as still warmer years replace them.
