I think the Americans were calling it Jonas.
Hence the foolishness and confusion in naming mid lat storms.


So what happens when a hurricane goes extra-tropical and is significant
enough to be given one of our names? Does it get one or does it continue
to be referred to as 'the remnants of hurricane X' as now?
