28.9mm to 09:00, of which at least 20mm fell in approx 20 minutes to 09:00, it's still very heavy.

The line convection responsible shows up well on the radar since about 08:00.

The 20-30 mm in half an hour in west Cornwall around 09:00-10:00 this morning caused a fair deal of flooding. Manhole covers lifted all over the place. Portreath was amongst the worst hit.

More torrential rain occurred in Penzance around 14:45. Most of the day it's just been heavy!

Now, to round off the day, it's hailing - heavily.
