The 20-30 mm in half an hour in west Cornwall around 09:00-10:00 this
morning caused a fair deal of flooding. Manhole covers lifted all over
the place. Portreath was amongst the worst hit.

More torrential rain occurred in Penzance around 14:45. Most of the day
it's just been heavy!
Now, to round off the day, it's hailing - heavily.
Exciting isn't it!
Temperature is falling sharply now here in Haytor, +6.7C.
Maybe a bit of snow in the cold pool tonight on Dartmoor.
Gales on Monday then colder with rain, sleet and hill snow.
