Default [OT]: Bomb off the Eastern Seaboard.

If you get a chance cast your eyes towards westwards towards another deep low off the Eastern Seaboard. In fact it's a bomb, dropping from 1004hPA to 980hPa or lower (ECMWF has 976hPa) in 24 hours as it moves NE past the Carolinas. It's more out to sea than the last Nor'easter but should deliver snow again to New England later Monday/overnight, heavy rain farther south.

If you can, have a look at Sunday afternoon's (ET) satellite animation. It's a beauty.

Stephen.
