The CF has cleared here to pale blue skies and single cells on the northern
and southern horizons with real ice, lovely.
The webcams are showing them off quite well if you have forgotten what a cb
anvil looks like (:
Temperature 11C it had dipped to less than that for a short while. Look at
'davis' on the website I do run a (not very accurate) temperatre guage.

The CF is still to clear here,
2nd CF is clearing as I type up here. Look SE and see low grey cloud
not quite giving hill fog on the top of Yad Moss (Cross Fell is well
shrouded). Look NW and see blue sky and bright culmulous between the
last wispy grey low stuff and the much higher stratus. Even had a
brief burst of sunshine.
we're getting continuous moderate rain, temp 13c here near the
coast.
Gently raining all morning as well, just another couple of mm bringing
today up to 12mm since 0520. Temp fell from 14C overnight to 10C at
0900 held again until 1100 and then dropped to 8C at 1300. The wind
also picked up a little at 1100 to F2/F3 still from the WNW which
makes that 8C feel a rather nippy 2 or 3C.
Brrrr.... Just been out taking some photos of the clearance, if they
are any good they may appear on my website later.
River and Gills are up a bit but not as much as I would expect after
almost certainly more than half an inch of rain. My AWS rain gauge is
not that accurate and under reads.
