Sunday and Monday we had snow warnings for this area haven't a clue why,

Today the warning as been in force for much of the day until 10am tomorrow.
Rained all day and the cloud is now clearing so where is the snow going to
come from?
The haven't got a clue!

Because UKMO are on the way OTT H&S train that middle class lefty idiotic ride as their way of fighting capitalism and oppression. Of course the train is driven by electric generated solely by wind turbines.

Here in the SE which I class as London, Surrey, Kent and south Essex we have a yellow snow warning, yet when you click on their SE link its devoid of any yellow peril whatsoever

UKMO do this time and time again and have done so for easily over two decades .

I've always maintained that if any future climate historian used the UKMO warning system as a proxy for British weather our future generation would get the impression we were all hanging on by our fingertips in one blast of snow after another. Of course when I've said this people say 'idiot'. but it is an absolute fact that everyone knows about but would not be seen to be agreeing with me . The warning system is a disgraceful farce and gives no true reflect or account of what actually happens

I followed the link and can see the warning. Did you
wait for the
map to load?

Freddie:

It loads fine and shows five map dated Thursdays 18th until Monday 22nd

The first map the 18th shows yellow everywhere but the SE yet its a warning for the SE, the remainder show no snow warnings at all.

The map I saw showed some of the London and SE region affected.

This has happened every winter for years and is seen as a proxy for over fearful weather warnings when in fact the is hardly any reflection of reality.

Yes, but London and the SE doesn't begin and end in your back yard.
