A poor forecast from the Met Office today. I was expecting a thoroughly wet
afternoon here in the SW, but the BBC forecast both at Breakfast time and at
1.25pm seem to have overdone the rain not just here in the SW but also Wales
judging by the latest Weather radar. I reckon I could have got the washing
dry now instead of using the tumbler.

Been raining here for two hours now. At one point it was really lashing
across the garden. Not much in the gauge but washing would not have dried up
here! Radar is also underdoing the rainfall on the moors (as usual).

Drizzling steadily virtually all day here, just about stopped now (15:00) but still a very damp feel.
