If you want snow this year best get off to Tenerife where about a foot

weather...

It snowed one year when I was on holiday there. We drove up the mountain
hoping to get to the top of the volcano but the ski lift was closed
because
of ice. The snow line was about 1800m that day. It was 20C at sea level.

I'm off to Teneriffe for a week from Saturday. Glad that it has been
snowing, means I won't be missing out much on winter. I don't normally do
winter sun holidays, but sometimes you have to .......
Owner said that there was a terrific storm where we are to be staying and
that the access road was washed away, we always do have eventful holidays. I
got ill in the Himalayas a few years ago and many years ago in the Alps I
managed to slide 800 feet down a snowy hillside, luckily uninjured.
