Yes, I understand that but the first two are mountain summits and the
third, although presumably it's close to the road, might as well be. To
include them in the list, I think, is a distortion of the overall

Just what have I done to upset you? You seem to object to most of what I posts - if its something I truly am sorry an hope you will accept my apology.
As for minimum temperatures from SYNOPs thats the full list thats available to me. I include higher level sites for interests sake. These are official sites, I too would like the Met Office to release data from all the climat 99 sites they have, but they don't because they like to cling onto certain things of little value to anyone but amateur meteorologists! You can always look at the Met office WOW site but watch out for the quality from some of the sites, I certainly woudn't like to write an app to rank those temperatures!
