TY. There has been a late Feb/early March uptick of course.


I've never seen that sea ice drift product before.

Although it may still be a bit too early to say I suspect that the maximum may have already occurred in the Arctic on the 29th of February at 14.557 million sq km, and if so the winter season of 2015-16 has the lowest maximum since records began in 1978 beating last years minimum of 14.595 (22 Feb 2015) by a whisker.
