The warm sunshine this morning has encouraged my first daffodil to open.
A bit earlier than normal, but still no February daffs. I'm still
waiting for my first Day 100 :-)
Native wild daffs have been out for a couple of weeks now in my garden
and surrounding fields. That's the earliest I've known since moving here.
I even saw a bluebell in flower the other day, though it was in a very
sheltered spot. The native bluebells in my garden still have a way to go
before they'll be in flower.
