Morning all, today is the third day in a row that the mist and low cloud has broken to leave a mostly sunny sky. In past years this synoptic set up would have brought mostly overcast days with little diurnal temperature difference - indeed you used to have to wait until May for any chance of the sun 'burning back' the low cloud. There's obviously a cold, drying wind so perhaps this is having an influence? I'm not complaining it's actually quite nice in the sun if you can find shelter.
