Snowy in Shropshire this morning. 2-3 cm full cover at 0500z, but
rapidly melting now with only a few patches left in the shade. It
would've been my latest "snow lying" day, had it hung around.
Plenty left on the high ground above 250 metres.

Just sunny with a chilly wind here. T +5.1C at 0950.
I almost recorded a snow lying day in October in 2003 - so annoying when it
melts quickly. Still, early days yet!
