Cool into May? Is it ever going to warm up this spring?

I see we in east Scotland have a severe weather for snow for
today and tomorrow. I can't ever remember one so late in the
year.

Decidedly nippy, Trevor, but you should lose all threats of
further snow by the month end! Not a flake in Dawlish all
winter.
I want a nice big high pressure over Scandinavia at the and of
May and the beginning of June please :-)
Keith (Southend)
Why set your sights so low? I want a series of nice big high
pressures over Scandinavia from now until October or
thereabouts, with an occasion short-lived low between times to
provide enough rain for me not to have to water my garden or the
farmers' crops to fail or the reservoirs to get too low.
We've had all fours seasons here today. I can cope with two
(spring and summer) but I have had enough of winter to be going
on with.
At least the frost and snow warnings that were threatening to
affect my journey to and from Aberdeen tomorrow have been
removed.
Anne
PS, Trevor, I remember snow on 2 June at sea level in Wester
Ross in the early 1970s, I forget which year.
Seconded. Keith is just not ambitious enough here. *))
