A saddle in physics is I believe a point where the variables work out to be the same to infinity. I might have got that wrong. But I have come across an anomaly with anticyclones as sea level that I should like help with before I come back with the answer from my helper.

My special "friend" if I may use the term very loosely (I would like to have a friend that big but I also want to be able to speak my mind freely.)

What happens when the isobars produce a straight line of equal pressure. I didn't describe that very well. I am trying to describe an isobar for isobars or do i mean an isopleth?:
