Made me chuckle. Maximum temperature of just shy of 14°C here - more
appropriate in April or May - a good 6 or 7degC above what you'd expect
I guess. Looking at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/guide
.html indicates that that would've been "exceptionally mild". "Cold"
would mean something around 2 or 3°C.


I was absolutely astonished by the broadcast. How can we believe what he
says about tomorrow if he can't even get the weather of the last few
hours right? Cold wind indeed! Perhaps it was in the north of the
country, but certainly not in the south.
